The name’s Paul Jahnz. I was born and raised in the midwest – Michigan City, Indiana to be exact. After graduating high school, I enlisted and served two terms in the US Air Force. I was stationed at Scott Air Force Base, Illinois for about 5 years, spent a year in South Korea at Osan Air Base, and finished the latter part of my second term at Cheyenne Mountain Air Station in beautiful Colorado Springs, Colorado.
I met my wonderful wife, Patty, while stationed at Scott Air Force Base. We’ve been married for 12 years and have 2 children, Lauren and Nathan.
I currently reside in west Michigan and am employed as an IT Infrastructure Engineer, with a background in Solaris, Oracle, VMware, Citrix, and SAN technologies. I’m a recent Mac convert – produced primarily from a short stint working for Apple. I find myself enjoying a certain sense of creativity while using a Mac – and I’m really fond of garageband. Once you go Mac, you never go back!
In my spare time I enjoy playing guitar, playing golf (although I don’t get out out on the course nearly as often as I’d like to), and teasing my kids until they cry (or until I cry when they beat me up).
